Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers received a special invite from The Embassy of the Republic of South Africa to Nelson Mandela’s memorial service as he personally extent his condolences to the family and relatives of Nelson Mandela.  Dr. Rivers goes on to say, “Nelson Mandela was an honorable man who was an inspiration to those who embraced peace and I will remember him as a role model”.

Nelson Mandela endured imprisonment for over 26 years as he fought for equality for all people. He was an extraordinary man and great President that united the people towards a common democracy. We are honored to remember this great man of Peace.

Ambassador Rivers also thanked The Embassy of the Republic of South Africa for their consideration and acknowledging his office on this special occasion.
